Trying to comprehend Print E-mail
Written by alicia

What will we do now?
Angry and bitter, hurting inside
Pain so overwhelming, we can't help but cry
All the time ...

How will we ever make sense?
Used and abused
Having no choice in the matter
But fighting just the same ...

Where will his life go?
Old, frail and weak
Watching the breath slip from her
All for acceptance,  identity.

And yet ...

Pity goes out to him
So young, seemingly going nowhere
But hoping his life will turn around
And give us closure
Peace ...

But still
We're trying to comprehend.

I know how hopeless it seems to everyone when you hope for such a small mercy. But no one will ever understand (even when they feel)... they can only understand that u will shed tears... still not knowing why.
